GIVE

The Unity Movement was founded by Charles and Myrtle Fillmore in 1889 as a healing ministry based on affirmative prayer and the power of our thoughts to create or change our reality.

The Silent Prayer Team

was formed for all those seeking prayer. It was and still is a 24/7 open line where anyone can connect for affirmative prayer at Unity Village online or by calling (816) 969-2000.

Over the years

training was established for volunteers who had a deep calling to pray for others in their individual Unity communities.

Today

Unity communities all over the world have prayer chaplains that are available to know the truth for YOU.

At Unity of Naples, congregants who have been touched by a deep calling have allowed themselves a way to express their divine potential while achieving deeper spiritual fulfillment through our Prayer Chaplain Ministry.

Our Prayer Chaplains have said YES

to the extensive training in affirmative prayer necessary to become a part of the lay leadership ministry.

They are dedicated to our community

by offering one-on-one affirmative prayer every Sunday after service as we walk through this journey called life.

A Prayer Chaplain is someone who

creates and holds sacred space with you. To hold sacred space means to embrace a consciousness of possibility.

We affirm: God Is, and therefore, I am greater than any outside situation or conditions I may experience.

Through training, our Prayer Chaplains commit to:
  • A daily spiritual journey which is based on love, faith, prayer and gratitude.
  • Demonstrate an active commitment to Unity of Naples’ principles and beliefs in their daily life.
  • Express the desire to lovingly listen to others.
  • Having and demonstrating a genuine interest in the well being of congregants and other prayer chaplains.
  • Hold all that is shared in strictest confidence.

Prayer Chaplains are here to create and nurture a community where God and prayer are first in all things. They envision and affirm the highest and best is already manifesting in everyone’s life.

“Prayer is the most highly accelerated mind action known. It steps up the mental action until man’s consciousness synchronizes with Christ Mind.”
